I wish I was just a little more interesting
I wish I wrote all the songs that I loved as a kid
But you can barely spell your name, walk and talk for yourself
But you're good at pointing fingers point the blame somewhere else
Your personality is always in the last place you look
You order take away, its far too fucking stressful to cook
Tell me all about the latest episode of Friends
Thats real insightful, love. The sound of your voice offends.
She's a joke
Even her parents know
Destined to be alone
She's a joke
I'm sure you'll find the meaning of life in the latest Vogue
You wont bring daddy back by chugging down a strangers load
I bet you've seen The Notebook more than a hundred times
The only problem is, you're never gonna have that life
So tell your lies, its not a surprise, we've got you figured out
To tell you the truth, you're nothing new, theres plenty of you about
You wont be missed, the clenched fist you're waving in the air,
Could fit square inside your box with loads of room to spare.
She's a joke
Even her parents know
Destined to be alone
She's a joke

What the fuck am I thinking?
Am I gonna do this all again?
Playing all of the same games, I thought I got bored of
But I guess this old dog forgot, all of his new tricks
Left alone to rot, telling people on the street how he had it all.
I struggle to meet my own eyes in the mirror, I see a boy of 18 years old
far too stubborn to be told the words he should heed.
How the hell did I get here?
The bitter taste of my pride stings. Burning through my gums and teeth
to reveal it all
All the times I wished that you'd just fucking leave this place for good
The parties over and you're dancing all alone
I struggle to meet my own eyes in the mirror, I see a boy of 18 years old
far too stubborn to be told the words he should heed.
Keep playing the bitch, I sure find that shit attractive.
You say you're passive, but another tale is told by your actions
Falling by the way side, picking up your broken pride.
No one wants to be the one left alone tonight.
I struggle to meet my own eyes in the mirror, I see a boy of 18 years old
far too stubborn to be told the words he should heed.

You and me, and the song that I wrote about you
The words were accurate at one time. I guess thats true.
But thats the funny thing about repetition
Sooner or later you get sick on indecision.
1 2 3, she's everything that I need.
3 2 1, providing I dont need fun.
I dont see a way out of this one
The scars on her knees, tell me all that I need.
You and me, and the song that I wrote about you
The words were accurate at one time. I guess thats true.
But thats the funny thing about repetition
Sooner or later you get sick on indecision.
Cant remember much of us, because were standing in the dark, because the spark has been pissed on.
